Eagles quarterback Michael Vick takes dog training classes at New Jersey PetSmart

If anyone could use dog training tips, it’s Michael Vick.

The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, who served 18 months in federal prison for running a dogfighting ring, is taking canine classes for his family pooch, sports site Crossing Broad reported.

Pictures of Vick with Angel, his Belgian Shepherd Malinois puppy, at a New Jersey-area PetSmart, along with witness tweets, confirm the report, which claims that the man behind the infamous “Bad Newz Kennels” completed the second of six scheduled courses this week along with his family and bodyguard.

Vick got Angel shortly after his probation period forbidding him from owning a pet expired over the summer, despite complaints from animal-rights activists.

  1. How long will he have to make ammends for one mistake? It seems that blacks can’t/don’t get the opportunity to move past an indescrecion but whites are forgiven and forgotten. The double standard.
