Before country singer Mindy McCready took her life , on Sunday, she was working on a video project with private investigator, Danno Hanks. But now, as Hanks looks back, he believes that he may have been helping the singer write her end.
Hanks told E! News that McCready had asked for his help with a song entitled, “ I’ll See You Yesterday”, a song that was written by a fan for McCready. He tells E! that McCready said, “she wanted to put together this video to help people deal when someone had suffered a suicide in their life and God, she was literally having me write her suicide note. “ He goes on to say, “If I had known, I would have made sure someone was there with her all the time.”
McCready sent Hanks a frame for the video, with a suicide hotline number, the day before she committed suicide. He thought nothing of it. Hanks says, “I thought she was talking about sending a message about suicide for David’s death but this is unbelievable. She was sending me a message. I wish I had been more alert to what it was.” “I just didn’t think she would do this,” “She had two kids to live for. I still can’t fathom the whole thing.”
McCready is survived by her two children, 9 month old son Zayne, who is now orphaned ( Zayne’s father, David Wilson killed himself a month before McCready), and Zander ,6.
